DIRECTV has added PX Sports, the leading action sports network in Hispanic America, to its channel lineup for subscribers in the U.S.

PX Sports airs global action sports competitions, original programming, and youth-driven culture content, with a focus on Hispanic audiences. The new addition is part of a wider trend of services diversifying their sports content beyond major leagues and mainstream sports.

On the new channel, you’ll find international skateboarding, BMX, surfing, motocross, snowboarding competitions, stories about athletes, content about sports culture, and more programming designed for bilingual audiences.

The launch on DIRECTV expands the reach of PX Sports to millions of households in the U.S. The channel already has a strong presence in Latin America and has been growing its audience. For DIRECTV, it means strengthening its international growth strategy after building a Latin American audience over the past decade.

“After more than a decade of building toward this milestone, this agreement redefines PX Sports’ international reach. Joining DIRECTV in the United States allows us to connect with new audiences and scale our offering globally,” said Alejandro Mercado, CEO of PX Sports.
