Recently Paramount+ has officially announced that the newly merged service will launch on June 27th, 2023.
When that happens, Paramount+ will be raising the price of its service by $1 to $2 a month account for the new Showtime content. The ad-supported plan will go up to $5.99 a month, and the ad-free version will go up to $11.99 a month.
When this merger happens, the Showtime app will be shut down later this year, and you will need to access Showtime content through the Paramount+ app.
