Race fans can say goodbye to commercial interruptions during the finale of one of the biggest motorsport events of the year. The CW Network and title sponsor Xfinity are giving fans a rare, uninterrupted finish to the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship.

As a thank you to viewers, Xfinity is celebrating its 11th year as series sponsor by airing the third and final stage of the title race in Phoenix commercial-free. With Xfinity’s tenure as title sponsor of NASCAR’s second-tier national series coming to a close, viewers can tune in to the sweepstakes-style finish set for Saturday, November 1, 7:30 PM ET, live from Phoenix Raceway.

Ahead of the race, fans can tune into a special one-hour pregame NASCAR COUNTDOWN LIVE from 6:30–7:30 PM ET, hosted by Carla Metts. The championship race will immediately follow, featuring Adam Alexander on play-by-play alongside analysts Jamie McMurray and Parker Kligerman. Dillon Welch and Kim Coon will report live from the pit.

“For 11 incredible years, the NASCAR Xfinity Series has given us a way to connect with some of the most passionate fans in all of sports,” said Matt Lederer, Vice President of Brand Partnerships and Engagement, Comcast. “As our time as title sponsor comes to a close, we wanted to do something special to say thank you. Partnering with The CW to present the final stage of this year’s championship race commercial-free is one way of giving back to the fans who have supported the series – and Xfinity – every step of the way.”

Beginning in 2026, the secondary series will be renamed the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and will air exclusively on The CW. To celebrate the final leg of the sponsor agreement, past Xfinity Series champions from 2015–2024 will reunite to give the starting command. Notable drivers Chris Buescher, Daniel Suárez, William Byron, Tyler Reddick, Austin Cindric, Daniel Hemric, Ty Gibbs, Cole Custer and Justin Allgaier will be in attendance for the finale in Phoenix.

“The NASCAR Xfinity Series has always been about showcasing the next generation of stars, and for more than a decade, our partners at Xfinity have helped elevate that mission,” said Brian Herbst, NASCAR EVP, Chief Media & Revenue Officer. “As we close out an incredible season on The CW, delivering the final stage of the championship race commercial-free is a perfect way to thank our passionate fans who make this series so special.”

If you’re planning a race-night watch party, mark the start time and remind guests that the finish will be broadcast uninterrupted. Cord cutters can stream the Xfinity finale live from Phoenix on The CW with DIRECTVFubo,  Hulu + Live TV, and YouTube TV. This is a must-see race for viewers who hate missing the dramatic closing laps for an ad break.

“The first full season of the NASCAR Xfinity Series on The CW has truly been a game-changer for the network, and we look forward to carrying that momentum into a thrilling championship weekend in Phoenix,” said Brad Schwartz, President, The CW Network. “We thank Xfinity for their years of commitment to the series, and we can’t think of a better way to show appreciation to our devoted viewers as we cap off an incredible NASCAR Xfinity Series season.”

The latest move comes as part of CW’s broader strategy that has seen it aggressively expand its live-sports footprint. To compete with the “Big Four” networks for key demos, CW Sports has added college football and basketball windows, high-profile cable/linear partnerships and niche properties to its schedule.

Recent additions and deals that show the network’s pivot to live sports include a multi-year deal for Pac-12 rights. With that deal, the network will air 66 Pac-12 events, including college football, and men’s and women’s college basketball. Additionally, the network has a national broadcast partnership for the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball season and was home to the broadcast debut of the Savannah Bananas’ Banana Ball. Plus, every Tuesday night, WWE NXT pulls in strong ratings, in what the network describes as a “game changer.”

The CW and Xfinity are treating this year’s NASCAR finale as a marquee sports moment, and fans will rake in the benefits of a commercial-free final stage. In a move where everyone crosses the finish line, long-time viewers are rewarded, The CW’s growing sports ambitions are highlighted, and it gives the championship a clean, suspenseful finish for anyone watching at home. Whether you’re a casual viewer or die-hard follower, Nov. 1 is one to circle on the calendar.
