Crackle added a hefty helping of nostalgia by teaming up with Retro Rewind 80s to bring 48 classic films and series to its free platform.
“Be Kind, Retro Rewind! Check out @80sRetroRewind’s new collection of the grooviest, most bodaciously extreme movies and series from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, only on Crackle,” the streaming service posted on X earlier today.
Retro Rewind is a Gen-X fueled “hub of nostalgia” with an “unquenchable thirst for the golden era of pop culture.” The platform dives into music, movies, television series, fashion, toys, and pop culture spanning past decades. Retro Rewind also hosts a podcast featuring live interviews with blasts from the past available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube. Now, it’s lending out its extensive catalog of fan favorites to Crackle.
Crackle is a free ad-supported streaming service offering a mix of movies, series, original programming, and Crackle exclusive content. Although you don’t need to sign up to watch, creating an account offers extra features, such as creating a list of titles to watch later, enabling parental controls, and turning on closed captions.
