Cord Cutters News Update: Big Growth & A Huge Thank You

Today I want to take a moment to give an update on Cord Cutters News and a look at our future growth.

First, a Quick Update

Cord Cutters News has seen growth like we have never seen before. September 2018 was our best month ever with more readers and page views than we have ever had.

Not only is the site doing well but our YouTube channel is also seeing strong growth. Just last week we hit 35,000 subscribers. Views also hit a new high as our YouTube channel continues to grow. Now we look forward to hitting 100,000 YouTube subscribers.

Lastly, our social media and newsletters have never been better. 56,000+ Facebook page likes, almost 44,000 Facebook group members, 26,000+ Twitter subscribers, and 41,000+ newsletter subscribers.

A Huge Thank You!

Cord Cutters News would be nothing without you. Every week we do our best to cover the quickly changing world of cord cutting. Yet without great readers, we would be nothing. Everyday readers send us tips and help us make sense of what is happening in the world of cord cutting.

Thank you to everyone who sends in tips, follows us online, or tells their friends about our site. We are grateful for your support and help.

A look forward at the future of Cord Cutters News.

Over the last month, we have invested in our YouTube channel. We recently purchased a new camera that has dramatically improved video quality. Now we are investing in sound as we just purchased sound dampening foam to help improve the sound quality in our review lab.

We also plan to expand our videos to include more breaking news coverage. Often reading something is great but being able to see it or hear it is even better. So, look for more YouTube videos in addition to the ones you already see every week on our Cord Cutters News YouTube Channel.

The Site

We have recently made some changes to the site to help improve site performance and better handle higher traffic. Although you may not notice the changes, they should make sure when you want the site it will be there.

One of the big areas we are growing the site is with deals. Our goal is to find some of the best cord cutting deals out there to help you save money. We have for some time had a Deals tab, but we now also have a Deals Newsletter that goes out once a week. If you want to make sure you never miss a great deal make sure to subscribe to our weekly Deals Newsletter.
