Conor McGregor’s long-awaited UFC return is getting a rare broadcast TV spotlight before the Octagon action moves to streaming.

UFC 329: McGregor vs. Holloway 2 will be previewed by a live one-hour special, “THIS IS UFC: McGregor vs. Holloway,” airing on CBS on Friday, July 10 at 9 p.m. ET/delayed PT. The special will feature the first-ever live broadcast UFC weigh-in with McGregor, Max Holloway, Paddy Pimblett and Benoit Saint Denis, along with interviews and an appearance from UFC CEO Dana White.

The special leads into UFC 329: McGregor vs. Holloway 2, which streams exclusively on Paramount+, on Saturday, July 11. The main card begins at 9 p.m. ET, with prelims starting at 7 p.m. ET and early prelims at 5 p.m. ET.

The event marks McGregor’s first fight in five years and has all the ingredients of a blockbuster. The former two-division champion’s comeback against Holloway adds instant star power to a card already packed with recognizable names. It’s also the biggest UFC spectacle since UFC Freedom 250, the historic White House card that reportedly attracted an estimated 34 million viewers worldwide and became one of the most talked-about combat sports events of the year.

Like that event, UFC 329 is expected to have the kind of crossover appeal that can pull in both longtime fans and casual viewers who may not normally tune in. Other marquee matchups on UFC 329 include Paddy Pimblett vs. Benoit Saint Denis, Robert Whittaker’s move to light heavyweight, and Olympic gold‑medalist Gable Steveson’s highly anticipated UFC debut.

With a live network television special on CBS followed by an exclusive stream on Paramount+, UFC is giving fight fans one of its biggest fight weekends in years, while making it easier than ever for casual viewers to join the excitement before McGregor steps back into the Octagon.
