Xfinity announced today the launch of StreamStore, a hub for discovering, purchasing and managing streaming apps, channels
and networks. StreamStore will be available to Xfinity TV and Internet customers.
“We believe that technology should work for you – not the other way around,” said Jon Gieselman, Chief Growth Officer, Connectivity & Platforms, Comcast. “Xfinity StreamStore is taking the complexity out of finding the content you love and putting the power back in the hands of our customers. It’s an important advancement in harnessing tech to make the complicated easy and entertainment smarter, simpler, and more connected.”
Xfinity calls it a “one-stop shop” for entertainment, including over 450 streaming apps and channels and 200,000 movies and TV shows to rent or purchase. Users will find a curated collection of options to simplify content discovery, along with bundle deals to save on premium content.
One major benefit of using the service is that customers can discover, purchase, and manage apps and channels on one platform, with everything charged to one bill. StreamStore is also coming to Xfinity.com, allowing customers to manage their streaming content in the same place that they manage their Xfinity Internet, Mobile and TV services.
