Are you a Comcast customer who enjoyed your free Peacock and wanted to keep it? If you are an Xfinity Rewards member with a Diamond or Platinum level, you will be able to get a free Peacock membership, just not yet. This comes as Comcast was meant to start offering free Peacock to Diamond and Platinum members today, but it is not working right now.

Yesterday was the last day Comcast offered free Peacock to its customers. Now unless you qualify for one of a few different plans, you will now need to pay for Peacock going forward. Sadly though Xfinity Rewards members with Diamond or Platinum level rewards have been unable to claim their free Peacock subscription.

The good news is Comcast has confirmed that they are aware of the issue and are working on adding the free Peacock offer for Diamond and Platinum members in the Xfinity rewards offer. For now, though if you are hoping to get a free Peacock, you need to wait until it has been added to the rewards center.

There is some good news for some Comcast customers who don’t have this rewards level as Cord Cutters News has confirmed any Comcast customer with Xfinity 1 Gigabit internet will be able to keep free Peacock. Customers with a 1 Gigabit internet service from Comcast you will get to keep free Peacock until June 2025.

If you don’t have a gigabit internet service from Comcast starting today, you will lose free access to Peacock. Instead, Comcast is offering a discount on Peacock’s Premium tier plan for a limited time only. Starting June 27th, customers can sign up for Peacock’s streaming service for only $3 a month by simply saying “Peacock” into their Comcast voice-activated remote.

Hopefully in the next few hours a fix for Xfinity rewards members will be rolled out so they can claim their free Peacock.
