Chase has rolled out a new limited-time offer for its cardholders, providing 100% cash back on a Peacock Premium subscription, with a maximum cash back of $7.99. This deal, which covers the first payment of the ad-supported Peacock Premium plan—regularly priced at $7.99 per month—allows eligible Chase users to stream hit movies, TV shows, live sports, and more at no net cost, provided they act before the offer expires on April 16, 2025. The promotion comes as Spectrum recently added Peacock to its TV Select packages, highlighting the streaming service’s growing appeal in a market where streaming accounts for 43.5% of U.S. TV viewing (February 2025).
Peacock, NBCUniversal’s streaming platform, offers over 80,000 hours of content, including blockbuster films like Wicked, originals such as The Traitors, and fan-favorite series like Suits. Sports enthusiasts can catch PGA TOUR events, Premier League matches, and NFL games, while current NBC and Bravo shows—think The Voice and Real Housewives—are available next-day, alongside news from NBC, MSNBC, and 50+ always-on channels. “Peacock is your go-to for hit movies, TV, live sports, and more,” the service’s site touts, a claim bolstered by its 34 million subscribers (Comcast, Q4 2024) and recent streaming of Yellowstone’s final season, which drew 8 million viewers (Variety, December 2024).
Chase’s offer, detailed on its website, applies only to the first payment, including taxes and after discounts, and is valid exclusively for purchases made directly with Peacock online—not through third-party services or payment accounts like buy-now-pay-later options. The cash back, capped at $7.99, will be awarded as a statement credit on the first qualifying transaction, and the offer is a one-time deal for U.S. purchases only. Cardholders must activate the offer through their Chase account, where a green checkmark confirms eligibility, though some users on X have noted it’s targeted—only select cardholders qualify.
The deal’s timing aligns with Peacock’s broader accessibility push—Instacart+ members get Premium for free, and Spectrum TV Select customers gained access this week. Yet, the $7.99 cap means ad-free Premium Plus ($13.99/month) users won’t recoup the full cost, and the first-payment-only clause limits long-term savings. Chase’s offer—expiring April 16—gives cardholders a budget-friendly window to binge Grey’s Anatomy (20 years since its 2005 debut) or catch up on live sports, but they’ll need to act fast.
