CW and CBS Sports are joining forces as the national broadcast partners of the 2025 AVP Pro-Beach Volleyball Season. A historic milestone for America’s only professional beach volleyball league, the deal capitalizes on the popularity of volleyball after the 2024 Paris Olympics. Every week, fans can tune in to watch elite male and female athletes compete across the US on the national stage.
“Beach volleyball is one of the most electrifying sports in the world – now, with The CW and CBS Sports, we’re giving it the prime-time spotlight it deserves,” said AVP Commissioner Robert Corvino. “This isn’t just a win for AVP; it’s a game-changer for professional beach volleyball itself. Fans are about to experience beach volleyball like never before.”
The LA Launch, San Diego Smash, New York Nitro, Brooklyn Blaze, Miami Mayhem, Palm Beach Passion, Dallas Dream, and Austin Aces make up the eight-team league. The season will run from Memorial Day to Labor Day, with a champion crowned during the 2025 AVP League Championship on Sunday, August 31.
