Looking to stream your favorite Big Ten game on the BTN2Go app? Starting today you will now need the Fox Sports Watch Anywhere app. Fox the majority owner of the Big Ten Network has announced that they are merging BTN2GO into the Fox Sports Watch Anywhere app. You will still be able to get the same content as you did through the BTN2GO app but now through the Fox Sports app.
“Fox Sports is now BTN’s TV Everywhere platform. In order to watch live streaming of televised games airing on BTN, FOX, or FS1 — such as Big Ten Football games — please visit FoxSports.com or download the Fox Sports app. You will be required to authenticate with your separate TV Provider credentials.” The BTN Network said in a statement on its website.
The Big Ten Network still has a standalone BTN+ app that will allow you to subscribe to get additional games not aired on TV. Sadly though the BTN+ app no longer also includes streams of games from the BTN. Here is what you get with BTN+:
- Live Streaming of over 1,400 Non-Televised Games
- Next Day, On-Demand Archives of Non-Televised and Televised Games
- On-Demand Archives of Previous Seasons of Big Ten Classics and Originals
