BritBox International is the leading source of streaming British entertainment and has been quietly testing out a new app over the past several months with much success. Today, the streaming service announced it has officially launched a new BritBox app via Comcast’s entertainment platforms for the United States.

The BritBox app is now available on Xfinity X1, Xfinity Flex, and Xumo TV. Just say “BritBox” into the voice remote or look for it in the aforementioned device’s app section. A subscription costs $7.99 per month or $79.99 per year and you can cancel at any time. New members can try it out risk-free with a 7-day trial.

BritBox has expanded its global audience to over 3 million subscribers, growing 15 percent in the past year alone. Subscribers can access BritBox original content, such as the limited series drama Stonehouse as well as Karen Pirie, Sherwood, Why Didn’t They Ask Evans?, and The Confessions of Frannie Langton to list just a few of the streaming service’s massive content library.
