BritBox is a new streaming service that launched earlier this year to bring the best of British television to the United States. BritBox is a joint partnership between the BBC Worldwide and ITV, the United Kingdoms’s biggest commercial broadcaster.

Today they announced a new deal with FremantleMedia International to bring even more British television to the United States. With this deal, you will get access to the award-winning series Merlin and others like Against the Law, Escape to the Country, and QI to name a few.

“Showcasing the best of British television is what BritBox is all about,” said Soumya Sriraman, president, BritBox.  “Expanding our offering with content created and distributed by leading British television creators and distributors of Fremantle’s scale and magnitude only catapults us closer to our end goal.”

“We are excited to be partnering with BritBox as they continue to build a fan base for top British programming in the U.S.,” said Lisa Honig, EVP, International Distribution for FremantleMedia International in North America. “We work with both our in-house FremantleMedia UK and third party producers to collate a bold, diverse, and exciting catalogue of the very best of British programming, and we’re thrilled that U.S. viewers will get to enjoy it via BritBox.”

The new FremantleMedia International shows will start showing up on BritBox later this month.

BritBox is now $6.99 per month after a free trial. BritBox is available on Roku®, Apple TV 4th Gen, all iOS and Android devices, AirPlay, Chromecast, and online at www.britbox.com. Fire TV owners can find BritBox as an Amazon Channel available for Prime members on all Amazon Video-capable devices and platforms. BritBox is only available in the United States.
