James Cameron’s smash hit of 2022, Avatar: The Way of Water will be available to stream at home on major digital retailers including Prime Video, Apple TV, Vudu, and Movies Anywhere on Tuesday, March 28.
The sci-fi sequel was one of the biggest films of the year, becoming the third highest-grossing film of all-time earning over $2.2 billion worldwide. Not only was the feature a commercial success, but critically, it received four Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture.
The at-home release will be available in 4K Ultra HD™ quality and immersive Dolby Atmos audio and fans will be treated to over three hours of never-before-seen bonus content. As part of the bonus features, viewers will get a look at “Inside Pandora’s Box” which is a series of featurettes on the challenges facing cast and crew as filmmakers devise new technologies to push the limits of cinema.
