AT&T announced today that in an effort to enhance its channel lineup by adding more diverse content, DIRECTV, AT&T TV, and AT&T TV NOW will all be adding two channels – Black News Channel and CLEO TV.

“AT&T is committed to delivering programming that meets our customers’ diverse needs,” said Rob Thun, EVP and Chief Content Officer, AT&T Communications. “We continue to build on our content offering and are very pleased to launch Black News Channel and CLEO TV. These additions further strengthen our diverse slate of content, and we’re excited to bring the networks’ important perspectives and unique programming to our channel portfolio.”

Black News Channel is a culturally specific news network reflecting the Black community’s diverse viewpoints. The channel will be available on DIRECTV on channel 342 beginning August 31 and will be available on AT&T TV and AT&T TV NOW in the near future.

CLEO TV is a lifestyle and entertainment network that offers scripted and unscripted programs for millennial and Gen X women of color. The channel will be available on all three platforms by the end of this year.
