Yesterday, for a short time, AT&T TV’s website was live saying the service had launched in 10 markets. That was quickly taken down. Now AT&T TV is set to roll out nationwide by the end of 2019. (Subject to change.) AT&T TV starts at $59.99 for 12 months with a 24-month contract. After the first 12 months, the package goes up to $93 a month. (The high-end AT&T TV packages will start at $135 a month in the second year.) You will also have to pay a $19.95 activation fee plus an $8.49/mo regional sports fee if you have the $64.99 a month package that includes RSNs. (You can find a full TV channel list here.)
Update #2: Not all locals are included with AT&T TV. According to their local channel lookup tool in my area, AT&T TV only has CBS and NBC included. This likely means AT&T does not have contracts with all locals at this time for AT&T TV.
Update #3 AT&T TV comes with with 3 months of free HBO, CINEMAX, Showtime, and Starz. Just becare to cancel them or you will be billed for them on month 4 of your 24-month contract.
AT&T TV does come bundled with 1 AT&T TV device that is free but the second devices costs $10 a month or $120 for life. After that device you can use the AT&T TV app on other devices like the Apple TV and Fire TV. This is exactly like what we reported about a month ago that AT&T TV would require an AT&T streaming player. (AT&T has also started to roll out an Android TV app for AT&T TV.)

AT&T TV is built on the DIRECTV NOW backend using the same apps but is a different service. DIRECTV NOW is being rebranded to AT&T TV NOW but do not confuse the two: they are different services with different packages. Just like how DIRECTV and DIRECTV NOW had similar names but different packages, rules, and features.
Update #1: After looking at the channel list AT&T TV looks to have an extremely similar channel lineup to DIRECTV. The packages are even the same price. (As we reported AT&T TV is DIRECTV but streaming online.) Clearly AT&T is not targeting AT&T TV at cord cutters.
