For months now AT&T has been rolling out access to the DIRECTV NOW DVR beta, but you had to be an AT&T customer. Now it looks like DIRECTV NOW has dropped that requirement.
Tonight DIRECTV NOW rolled out a large number of invites to DIRECTV NOW and once again you can now use your DIRECTV NOW login to access the beta. In the past you needed to also have an AT&T account but now all you need to be is a DIRECTV NOW subscriber.

If you want to see if you got an invite to the DIRECTV NOW beta make sure to check the email address you gave AT&T and look in your spam to make sure it didn’t end up there.
Now, as best we can tell both invites to fill out a survey to be considered for the beta and invites to the beta have been sent out. Above is what an invite to join the beta looks like. The other invite will ask you to take a survey to see if you are eligible to join the beta. If you get the email with a survey you will need to wait for an email like the one above to be able to use the new beta app after you fill out the survey.
