In a move aimed at boosting customer satisfaction amid growing demands for affordable and customizable mobile services, AT&T has introduced an enhanced lineup of unlimited wireless plans under its Unlimited Your Way brand. The announcement, made on March 13, 2026, says the new plans offer greater value, flexibility, and essential features tailored to modern usage patterns like streaming and video communication. These plans allow users to select different options for each line in a family or group account, avoiding the need to lock everyone into the same tier and potentially saving money by not overpaying for unused perks.
The revamped offerings build on AT&T’s existing network strengths, including coverage across the United States, Canada, and Mexico with unlimited talk, text, and data. Speeds may drop to 2G in certain off-network scenarios, and all plans incorporate 5G access for compatible devices. Security remains a priority with the inclusion of AT&T ActiveArmor, which provides spam blocking and other protections through a free app, though some features are limited during international roaming. Hotspot capabilities are standard, but data speeds slow to 128kbps after reaching the allotted high-speed threshold per line.

At the top of the lineup sits the AT&T Premium 2.0 plan, designed for heavy users who require uninterrupted performance. This option delivers truly unlimited high-speed data without slowdowns tied to individual usage, even during peak network times. It includes 100GB of high-speed hotspot data per line, enabling extensive tethering for laptops or other devices. Streaming enthusiasts benefit from 4K UHD video quality support, and international travelers gain unlimited talk, text, and high-speed data in 20 Latin American countries at no additional cost, though speeds can vary and may operate at 3G in some areas. Domestic usage must exceed international to avoid restrictions. Additionally, subscribers receive a 50 percent discount on one eligible connected device plan, such as a tablet or smartwatch, enhancing connectivity for multi-device households.
For those seeking a balanced middle ground, the AT&T Extra 2.0 plan offers 100GB of high-speed data per line, after which speeds may temporarily reduce if the network experiences congestion. It comes with 50GB of high-speed hotspot data, sufficient for moderate sharing needs. Video streaming is capped at standard definition to optimize data efficiency, aligning with everyday activities like browsing and social media without the premium extras.
Pricing for all plans is structured to reward multi-line accounts, with per-line costs decreasing as more lines are added. These rates apply after enrolling in AutoPay and paperless billing, which provides a $10 discount per line starting within two bill cycles. Taxes and fees are additional, and certain employees or retirees may not qualify for the discount. Plans support up to 10 phone lines and 20 total lines including non-phone devices.
