First responders relying on AT&T’s FirstNet mobile service will soon be facing higher monthly bills. The telecommunications giant announced a $3 price increase for its FirstNet unlimited smartphone and data-only plans, effective January 15th, 2025.
AT&T attributes the price hike to the need to “continue to deliver the great wireless service you expect.” The company emphasizes that the increase will support ongoing investments in network infrastructure and technology, ensuring reliable connectivity for first responders it was first spotted by Phone Arena.
Details of the Price Increase:
The $3 monthly increase applies to all FirstNet Mobile – Responder Unlimited plans. However, customers who activated their service on or after April 15, 2024, will be shielded from the price change for the first nine months of service. During this introductory period, AT&T will apply a $3 monthly credit to offset the price increase.
