AT&T, over the last few years, has made a hard push to expand its fiber network. Gone are the days of DSL, as AT&T now only wants to focus on its Fiber network going forward.

This effort to focus on Fiber has resulted in an additional 1.2 million AT&T Fiber internet customers. This is the 5th year in a row that AT&T has added over 1 million fiber customers. AT&T Wireless also announced that it now covers 150 million people with its mid-band 5G spectrum.

This all added up to $120 billion in total revenues for 2022 and $14.1 billion in free cash for 2022.

Sadly AT&T no longer releases DIRECTV subscriber numbers after spinning the company off. We did learn that DIRECTV distributed $45 billion to AT&T in 2022. That is more than the $4 billion that was expected.

Back in August 2022, AT&T announced that they were adding 350 customer locations every hour to its Fiber network. AT&T hopes to cover more than 30 million locations with AT&T Fiber by the end of 2025.
