It seems that Apple is about to roll out a major update for the Apple TV.

It is expeccted that Apple tvOS 11 will be announced at at WWDC in June, but not much has been said about what new stuff these software updates will bring.

Though a few websites including The Verifier have released what they claim is leaked details of the new Apple tvOS 11. According to The Verifier the new Apple tvOS 11 will bring the ability to have multiple profiles on the Apple TV and picture in picture.

With the ability to have multiple profiles users will see only see their songs and playlists in the Music app, view their personal iCloud Photo Library in Photos, change the app home screen to display their apps and layout, and more.

It is also cliamed that Apple will bring a version of Picture-in-Picture to the Apple TV. This will work similar to Picture-in-Picture on iOS 9. You will be able to start watching a video, then back out and see that video in a smaller window docked to the sides of the screen whilst browsing the rest of the Apple TV.

For now we will have to wait till June to get an official look at the new Apple tvOS 11. Though it sounds like Apple is slowly giving the Apple TV the attention it needs.
