Do you love classical music? Apple is hoping to cash in on the growing love for classical music by offering a dedicated app called Apple Music Classical that will offer a huge collection of classical music.

The new stand-alone app will launch on March 28th, 2023. This comes after Apple bought Primephonic, a music service dedicated to classical music, and will use it to run Apple Music Classical.

“Apple Music Classical makes it quick and easy to find any recording in the world’s largest classical music catalog with fully optimized search, and listeners can enjoy the highest audio quality available, and experience many classical favorites in a whole new way with immersive spatial audio,” Apple said in a press release.

The app will include support for spatial audio and will offer hundreds of curated playlists, thousands of exclusive albums, insightful composer biographies, deep-dive guides for many key works, intuitive browsing features, and much more.

At launch, Apple Music Classical will be exclusive to iOS but an Android version is coming soon.
