Before Apple ever announced the idea of Apple TV+, the company made a deal for rights to a reboot of Amazing Stories, in partnership with Steven Spielberg. Now, we’re getting a closer look at the series which will premiere on Apple TV+ on March 6.
Here’s how Apple describes the series: From visionary executive producers Steven Spielberg and Edward Kitsis & Adam Horowitz, this reimagining of the classic anthology series transports everyday characters into worlds of wonder, possibility, and imagination.

The original series aired from 1985 to 1987. During that time, the original earned 12 Emmy nominations. After announcing the deal for rights to a reboot in 2017, the new series hit some bumps along the road to bringing the five new stories to viewers. Production was delayed when the reboot’s original showrunner Bryan Fuller left the project in 2018.
