Today, Apple released tvOS 18.4, with some small improvements to the Apple TV experience.

Apple’s tvOS support page hasn’t been updated with notes on the tvOS 18.4 release yet, so we’re still waiting for official details on what changes have been made. In the meantime, Apple TV app users are noticing some updates.

9to5Mac noted a few changes to the user interface. The carousel of featured content now makes it easier to add titles to your watchlist with a large plus button, find out more about a title with an “i” button, and makes details about a title’s release schedule easier to find. Users might also notice that some content icons, including the Friday Night Baseball icon, have a new look.

You can update your Apple TV device by going to Settings > System> Software Updates>Update Software and downloading tvOS 18.4. If you have automatic software updates turned on, your device will update on its own.
