Yesterday, Apple released tvOS 16.4, the fourth major update to the tvOS 15 operating system that debuted last September. It’s available for the Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD, it comes two months following the release of tvOS 16.3.
This brand new update can be downloaded by going through the Settings app on the Apple TV. To do this just navigate to System > Software Update.
The updates Apple puts out for Apple TV devices are often minor, focusing mainly on internal bug fixes and improvements rather than blatantly obvious changes. The Dim Flashing Lights option is an opportunity for users to dim their displays when strobe effects or flashes of light appear on their screen.
