Apple Releases New MacBook Pro and iPad Pro Models with New M5 Chip

Today, Apple released two new products to its lineup – a 14-inch MacBook Pro and a new iPad Pro, both powered by the new M5 chip. Apple says the new devices are faster, with better storage, and have a longer battery life.

The new additions to Apple’s fall product lineup, following the iPhone 17 and Apple Watch Series 11 models announced in September, are available now for pre-order.

14-Inch MacBook

Here are some of the features and upgrades with the new MacBook Pro model:

With its amazing performance, extraordinary battery life, and unrivaled display, M5 takes the new 14-inch MacBook Pro to another level.”

The new 14-inch MacBook Pro with M5 is available to pre-order today in space black and silver, and will be available beginning Wednesday, October 22 for $1599.

11-Inch and 13-Inch iPad Pro

Here are some of the features and upgrades with the new iPad models:

“Powered by the next generation of Apple silicon, the new iPad Pro delivers our most advanced and versatile iPad experience yet,” said John Ternus, Apple’s senior vice president of Hardware Engineering. “iPad Pro with M5 unlocks endless possibilities for creativity and productivity — with a huge leap in AI performance and a big boost in graphics, superfast wireless connectivity, and game-changing iPadOS 26 features, it pushes the boundaries of what iPad can do yet again.”

The new iPad Pro is available to pre-order today, and will be available beginning Wednesday, October 22.
