Apple has for some time now been focusing on growing its paid subscriptions to help drive up revenue. Now Apple has reported that as of the 4th quarter of 2022 that Apple now has over 935 paid subscribers.

This number includes subscriptions to iCloud, Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple News+, Apple Fitness, and more. In total, Apple brought in $20.8 billion in just the first quarter of 2023.

Apple is hoping to see strong Apple TV+ subscription growth. Over the last year, Apple TV+ has struck several content deals with the likes of the Hallmark Channel. Apple also is launching a subscription service to watch every Major League Soccer game.

Apple also announced that its device install base had reached 2 billion. This includes devices like the iPhone, iPad, Macs, Apple TV, and more.

As sales of the iPhone, iPad and other devices slow down, look for apple and others to focus on subscriptions to help off set the losses in device sales.
