Multiple readers confirmed to Cord Cutters News that they received the 16.3 updates yesterday, only to have Apple stop the rollout. On Reddit, multiple users also reported getting the Apple TV tvOS 16.3 update yesterday before the rollout stopped.
The exact issue that is caused Apple to stop the rollout of tvOS 16.3 is unknown, but it seems that Apple found a bug after the rollout started.
Those who have tested the new 16.3 update say there is no massive change. The 16.3 update to tvOS is full of bug fixes and improvements to the Apple TV this time. Some you may notice, some you likely won’t, but all of them should help make your Apple TV a far better device than you had with 16.2.
