While it hasn’t yet been officially released to customers, the Onn 4K Plus Streaming Device is already being reviewed online. Walmart’s Onn brand has previously released several streaming devices like the Google TV 4K Pro in 2024. From what we’ve seen in online reviews, the new device has more storage and fasted speeds than the standard model.

Reviews for the unreleased model have been showing up on the Home Tester Club website since early March and were spotted by Reddit users.

Review images show that the device comes in the brand’s new blue box, rather than the yellow boxes from previous models. The box also shares device specs, listed below.

  • Voice remote with Google Assistant
  • Google Cast
  • 4K Ultra HD resolution
  • Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision
  • CPI: Quad-core Cortex-A55
  • GPU: G310 V2
  • 2 GB RAM with 16GB storage
  • WiFi : 2.4/5 GHz
  • Input: AC 100-240V, 50/60Hz
  • Output: DC 5V/1.5A

Most of the reviews skip over specs and talk about how affordable and user-friendly the device is. One noted that “It was just like using a Roku just half the price!”

The Onn 4K Plus Streaming Device is not yet on the Walmart website, but it looks like many reviewers were able to pick it up in-store, so some stores are letting it hit the shelves early.
