More than a decade after the original film, Disney’s Enchanted is returning to the screen in a sequel, this time straight to Disney+.

The sequel’s reality and title, ‘Disenchanted,’ was confirmed by producer Adam Shankman in an Instagram post:

“I feel incredibly honored and humbled to be guiding forward these two Disney crown jewel legacies,” Shankman wrote. “My only hope is to honor those who came before me and build something new and exciting, as I desperately try to not let down the fans and enchant the new initiates!”

Shankman will also be producing Disney’s Hocus Pocus sequel which we first reported here.

As the new sequel’s title suggests, it’s likely we’ll see Giselle wind up in some sort of trouble in Disenchanted, only to have love conquer all and once again live happily ever after with Robert. But we can never be too sure.
