Amazon’s free streaming service Freevee first launched as IMDb Freedrive back in 2019. Now, it has become one of the largest sources for free movies and TV shows since it was renamed to Freevee in early 2022. Now Amazon has announced that Freevee now offers over 400 free live TV channels.
“With over 400 FAST Channels to choose from, Freevee customers have an incredible selection of content at their fingertips,” said Ryan Pirozzi, head of Amazon Freevee said in a recent press release. “We’re always innovating to offer an increasingly better FAST experience, and the addition of podcast video channels from Wondery is an entertaining and unique way to introduce a new format for our Freevee audience.”
By now offering over 400 live free channels Amazon’s Freevee is now one of the largest services when looking at the number of free channels it offers. This means it joins the rankings of Pluto TV, Local Now, The Roku Channel, and Tubi.
Right now, the fastest-growing area in cord cutting is free ad-supported services. This has seen a growing number of companies try to jump into this field by offering free channels or launching their own streaming services. This has brought with it a flood of new channels as content companies try to monetize their older content by offering it free with ads.

The channel will run English-dubbed episodes of Horimiya, Ranking of Kings, Moriarty the Patriot, PSYCHO–PASS, Sugar Apple Fairytale, To Your Eternity and Code Geass.
