Amazon Luna, the cloud gaming service from Amazon, is making big moves in 2025, announcing a multi-year content partnership with Electronic Arts (EA) and expanding its availability to Sweden, Portugal, Belgium, and Luxembourg as of March 27. The dual announcement highlights Luna’s growing ambition to become a go-to platform for gamers worldwide, offering a robust library of titles and seamless access across a variety of devices without the need for expensive hardware.
Starting today, Luna+ subscribers can dive into a trio of EA’s fan-favorite games: Star Wars Jedi: Survivor™, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order™, and Dead Space™. This marks the beginning of a broader collaboration with EA, with more titles, including select games from the EA SPORTS portfolio, set to join the Luna library in the coming months. David Tinson, EVP and Chief Experiences Officer at EA, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We’re excited to partner with Amazon to make those games available to even more people… offering new ways for players and fans to come together across a variety of devices they already own, wherever they are.” The addition of EA’s popular franchises enhances Luna’s appeal, giving players access to high-profile games on devices like Fire TV, Fire Tablets, PCs, Macs, iOS and Android devices, and select Samsung and LG smart TVs.
Simultaneously, Amazon Luna has expanded its footprint to four new European countries—Sweden, Portugal, Belgium, and Luxembourg—bringing its total to 14 markets worldwide, including the U.S., Canada, and several other European nations. This expansion grants players in these regions instant access to over 300 games without lengthy downloads or costly hardware upgrades. Amazon Prime members in these countries also gain Luna benefits through Prime Gaming, including access to Fortnite, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, Trackmania, and a rotating selection of monthly games like WRC Generations and Overcooked! 2 through March 31, with new titles arriving in April.
The Luna Controller, optimized for low-latency gameplay via direct Wi-Fi connection to Luna’s cloud servers, is now available in Sweden, Belgium, and Luxembourg at an introductory price of €44.99 (MSRP €69.99) or 519.99kr (MSRP 799.99kr), with Portugal availability slated for later this year. “We’re delighted to bring Amazon Luna to even more players in Europe,” said Mustafa Hakim, General Manager of Amazon Luna. “We are also thrilled to partner with Electronic Arts to bring great games… Luna is committed to making gaming easier, more fun, affordable, and accessible for everyone.”
Luna’s growing library and device compatibility—spanning Fire TV, Fire Tablets, smart TVs, mobile devices, and PCs—position it as a versatile option in the cloud gaming space. Subscriptions like Luna+, Ubisoft+, and Jackbox Games unlock additional content, while Prime members can link Ubisoft or GOG accounts to play owned PC games. With more EA titles on the horizon and a wider European presence, Amazon Luna is gearing up for an exciting year, as Hakim hinted at more updates to come.
