Amazon threw out a bevy of devices at its big fall event. But one that everyone missed — including Amazon itself — was the release of a refreshed Fire HD 10 tablet.

A listing for the product appeared on Amazon and was spotted by AFTVnews. It’s the first refresh in two years for the tablet.

The most notable change in the Fire HD 10 is actually the price. The 32GB model costs $139.99, $10 less than the prior model. The 64 GB version costs $179.99, also a $10 difference.

The update doesn’t change much, swapping in a faster octa-core processor for 25% faster performance with 3GB of RAM. It also features a 5 MP front-facing camera for video chats. The 10.1-inch Full HD display runs at a 1920 x 1200 resolution. The company says the tablet will run 13 hours on a single charge.

Amazon has quietly carved out a niche in the tablet business for its low-cost tablets, which far undercut Apple’s iPad lineup.
