Twitch logoDo you ever want to watch your favorite show or movie with other people? Amazon is now testing a new Twitch feature called Watch Parties that will let you watch Amazon Prime movies and TV shows with other Amazon Prime members on Twitch.

This feature is only being tested right now with a handful of Twitch streamers but soon you may be able to stream Amazon Prime shows on Twitch and chat about the program with others. Both the broadcaster and the viewers will need to be Amazon Prime members if they want to watch the stream.

This news was first reported on Twitter by Travis Shreffler:

Twitch was originally almost exclusively focused on gaming content but has expanded in recent years. Recently Twitch ran a marathon of every Power Rangers episode along with Bob Ross painting. It will be interesting to see how much of the Amazon Prime catalog will be available for streaming if the new Watch Parties features rolls out to all Twitch and Amazon Prime users.
