Amazon Prime Receives 5 Sports Emmy Nominations For Thursday Night NFL Football

Today the Sports Emmy Awards nominations were made, and Amazon Prime received five nominations for its Thursday Night Football coverage.

This included nominations for Outstanding Live Series, Outstanding Personality/Play-by-Play category for Al Michaels, and Outstanding Digital Innovation for Prime Vision with Next Gen Stats, the TNF alternate stream featuring real-time graphic overlays and Next Gen Stats powered by AWS.

“These nominations emphasize the innovation, creativity and commitment of the entire Prime Video sports team, including our incredible Thursday Night Football debut and our outstanding original sports content,” said Amazon in a statement sent to Cord Cutters News.
