Amazon Prime members can now pump up their savings with a new perk: a discount of $0.10 per gallon at approximately 7,000 bp, Amoco, and ampm gas stations across the U.S. This new benefit, announced today, could translate to an average annual savings of nearly $70 for Prime members who fuel up at participating locations. This offer is simular to one Walmart+ also offers as Walmart and Amazon fight for subscribers.

“With free shipping, access to amazing entertainment, and savings on groceries and medications, Prime is already an incredible value,” said Jamil Ghani, Vice President of Amazon Prime. “We’re always looking to add more, and fuel savings is something we’re excited to offer our members.”

How to Access the Discount

Activating the fuel savings is simple:

  1. Visit the activation page: Go to amazon.com/fuelsavings.
  2. Link your accounts: Connect your Amazon Prime account with a free earnify™ account from bp.
  3. Find a station: Use the earnify™ app to locate a participating bp, Amoco, or ampm station.
  4. Redeem at the pump: Enter your phone number or linked payment method at the pump, or use the earnify™ app to select your station and pump.

More Transportation Savings Coming Soon

And there’s more on the horizon for Prime members. In 2025, Amazon plans to expand its transportation savings to include electric vehicle charging discounts through bp pulse, bp’s EV charging network. More details about this program will be revealed next year.

Prime: A Growing Ecosystem of Benefits

This new fuel savings benefit adds to the already extensive list of perks that come with an Amazon Prime membership. From free shipping and exclusive deals to streaming entertainment and grocery delivery, Prime continues to offer a compelling value proposition for its members.

With its continued expansion into areas like transportation savings, Amazon Prime is solidifying its position as a comprehensive membership program that caters to a wide range of consumer needs.
