Amazon is streamlining its app downloading experience on Fire TV devices, making it faster and more efficient to get to the content you want. The TVS and devices now have a new Auto App Download feature that will start downloading a free or previously purchased app the moment you click on it without having to go through any extra steps.

AFTV News first shared the update about the feature, which does not work with apps that require payment.

Previously, users had to select an app, wait for the download, and then go to their app list to find and launch it. But with this new auto download feature, it can all happen with the click of a button after enabling the setting.

New Fire TV users will be asked if they want to enable this feature during set up. You can also enable it by going ot Settings > Applications > Appstore.
