Great news for Taylor Swift fans or anyone looking to check out what all the talk is about. Amazon is making all of her studio albums free on-demand with Prime.
Taylor Swift has been a professional songwriter since she was 14 years old. She has been topping the charts since her first album in 2006, produced under Big Machine Records, winning over listeners with her hit songs “Our Song” and “Teardrops on My Guitar.”
Starting as a country singer, she slowly branched out into pop music over her subsequent four albums. Swift fully transitioned into pop music with her 2014 album, 1989. She signed a contract with Republic Records for her seventh album, Lover, released in 2019.
From there, Swift ventured into indie folk and alternative rock. In 2020, she released two albums, Folklore and Evermore, with a strong focus on these musical genres.
After a dispute with Big Machine, Swift rerecorded three of her albums released under them titled “Taylor’s Versions.”
Throughout her career, she sold over 200 million records worldwide, five of which sold over one million copies within the first week of debuting. Swift is one of the best-selling musicians as well as the most streamed woman on Spotify, netting her a feature on Rolling Stone’s 100 Greatest Songwriters of All Time, Billboard’s Greatest of All Time Artists, Time’s 100 list, and Forbes Celebrity 100.
Swift has 12 Grammy Awards under her belt. Three of her albums won Album of the Year. She also won 40 American Music Awards, 29 Billboard Music Awards, 12 Country Music Association Awards, three IFPI Global Recording Artist of the Year Awards, and a Primetime Emmy Award. She also landed 98 Guinness World Records.
