Amazon Has Launched a Free Fire TV News App on Fire TV and Tablets

Fire TV users may have noticed a message from Amazon today, announcing the launch of Fire TV News.

Here’s the message, as shared by Dave Zatz on Twitter.

An easy way to access free news content on Fire TV. This news experience offers a single destination to watch content from multiple news providers. Please note that some content and ads in this news experience are provided by Verizon Media and its business partners who may also collect data about your use of the news experience. If you’re using a Fire TV or Fire Tablet, you should see the new app with the title “News.” You won’t need to download anything as it will come built-in to all Fire TVs. You will also be able to ask Alexa to just “play the news” to access the new free news app.

If you don’t see the new app, your device may have not gotten the update just yet. Amazon announced that the app would be rolling out over the coming weeks, so keep an eye out.
