“We’re excited to help customers get great holiday deals even earlier this year, including thousands of small business products,” said Dave Clark, CEO of worldwide consumer at Amazon. “Customers can confidently shop early knowing they are receiving incredible deals starting today, letting them get a head start on their holiday to-do lists so they can truly enjoy the holiday season. And I want to thank our incredible team around the world for everything they do each day to support each other and our customers—I couldn’t be prouder to work with you all.”
There’s also a new Amazon Holiday Gift List feature that lets users easily create and share one list of gift ideas for everyone in their household. You can share it with friends and family so they know just what to get everyone in your house, all returnable within 90 days. Plus, it keeps track of who sent you what to make thank you’s easy, sort of like a wedding or baby registry.
In addition, Amazon has added features to make gifting easier this holiday season. Now, Prime Members can send gifts just by entering the recipients’ mobile number or email address, no address required. Users will just need to be using the Amazon mobile shopping app and select “add gift receipt for easy returns” during check out. When choosing the delivery address, Prime members will now see a new option to “Let the recipient provide their address.” They can then enter the recipient’s email or mobile number. (U.S. only).
