Amazon Fire TV Channels is adding extra sports coverage from beIN SPORTS by launching beIN SPORTS XTRA and video-on-demand content.

Sports fans will have expanded access to world-class sports content through Fire TV Channels, such as new curated video-on-demand playlists organized by categories, such as soccer.

While a free English-language channel from beIN SPORTS EXTRA is already available on Amazon Freevee, U.S. households can now find beIN SPORTS EXTRA in English and Spanish, as well as the VOD catalog live on the Amazon Fire TV Channels app.

Fans can catch live soccer coverage, including matches from Ligue 1, Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana, Recopa Sudamericana, Turkish Super Lig, Africa Cup of Nations, CAF Confederations Cup, CAF Champions League, and International Friendlies. The channels will include the latest sports news and in-depth analysis of the top leagues worldwide, including coverage of pedal, wrestling, mixed martial arts, skiing, basketball, and motorsports, to name a few.

The Fire TV Channels app is available on Fire TV, smart TVs, and streaming devices within the U.S. Amazon has been acquiring the streaming rights to several sports events, including the NBA League Pass and ONE Championship. The company has also been adding new sports streaming channels such as ESPN for Fire TV and FOX Sports to provide a one-stop destination as more people cut the cord to cable and turn to streaming platforms as their home base for game day.

Look for beIN SPORTS on the Fire TV Channels app under ‘Your Apps and Channels.’ There’s no need to download any additional apps or sign up. Click the ‘Free’ icon on the navigation bar or ask Alexa to ‘Play Fire TV Channels.’

beIN SPORTS launched its sports network in 2012 and can also be found on FuboTV, Sling TV, Roku, YouTube TV, and beIN CONNECT.
