Thursday Night NFL Football is back on Amazon for a third year and this time around, they’re making things even more interesting with some new features.
Games will start streaming on the platform on September 26, with the Eagles vs Packers game. Then, every Thursday night games will stream live, and for free on Twitch’s Prime Video channel. In addition to the normal live streams, Twitch is also setting up a co-stream option for each game. Join an existing community of Twitch users to watch the game together and keep the conversation going, play by play.
Here are a few of the new features you will find added to Amazon’s stream of the Thursday Night NFL games:
Amazon has added their X-Ray feature to games, giving fans facts, stats, and details while they watch. The feature is available for Android, iOS and Fire TV devices.
The new 30 minute live show is now available on Amazon Prime Video each Thursday. NFL Next will include commentary on games from Kay Adams and James Koh from NFL Network.
Viewers can go to the Prime Twitch channel on Thursdays to watch the games with other fans. This gives viewers the opportunity to chat and connect while watching.
