The U.S. Coronavirus Task Force, including the agencies of the CDC, White House, Health and Human Services, and FEMA, have created an official channel for coronavirus coverage. Amazon has now made that channel available for Fire TV users, in an effort to keep people across the country informed with facts and updates.
Here’s the description for the channel:
This is the official app of the US Government and Coronavirus (COVID-19) Joint Task Force including the agencies of the CDC, Whitehouse, Health and Human Services, and FEMA. This app is here to ensure that you’re getting the most up-to-date health and Coronavirus information. The home screen lets you see all your information in one place and updates whenever new information is available.
You can browse videos on how to protect yourself as well as see consistent news and updates from our News and Updates section as new and live reports come in. Lastly, if you are sick, we have provided some videos which will help you limit the exposure to others and encourage you to seek medical help immediately.
The Coronavirus.gov channel is available for free on the Amazon Fire TV Appstore.
