Amazon on Wednesday launched a “Continue Watching” row for Fire TV home screens.

This comes as Amazon has updated its Fire TV home screen multiple times this year. The company has tested changes like adding a “Games” tab, adding DIRECTV STREAM, and integrating more personalization features.

In a post shared on Medium, Amazon said Fire TV users will now see a new row at the top of their home screen. Once you agree to share their streaming history with Fire TV, you’ll see your recently watched TV shows and movies from third-party apps like Max, STARZ, MGM+, Prime Video, and Amazon Freevee.

Amazon said it plans to add shows and movies from Peacock, Tubi, and other streaming apps over the next few months.

In addition, once you’ve finished an episode of a show, the “Continue Watching” row will have the next episode lined up once it’s available. Paused movies will also appear in the row.

The “Continue Watching” feature began rolling out to users in November, but it’s now live in all areas.
