Do you use the YouTube TV family feature to allow family members to use your YouTube TV account? They might have received an email this morning saying you canceled your YouTube TV subscription even if you didn’t.

Cord Cutters News readers have reached out this morning to try and figure out what is happening. They didn’t cancel their accounts, but YouTube TV is telling their family members that they have. The account owner won’t get these emails, just the family members under the primary account owner.

For now, there is no need to worry it seems that Google is sending these emails out in error.

For now, family members who have received the cancelation emails can still use YouTube TV. It seems that Google’s bug is only affecting the email system, not the account itself.

So if you got this email for now ignore it but if your account dose get turned off please reach out to Cord Cutters News and let us know.
