Dog lovers can watch content featuring their furry friends 24/7 after Bark TV expanded its national footprint over the air (OTA TV) and on free, ad-supported streaming platforms. The first 24-hour multi-platform network dedicated to dog lovers is now available in more than 80 broadcast markets nationwide, following a soft launch last year.
This move makes it easier than ever to watch Bark TV with an antenna. The network is available in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, Key West, Jacksonville, Kansas City, and Little Rock, among others. To find out if it’s available in your area, you can check out the full list of Bark TV over-the-air stations HERE.
Bark TV carries a mix of original and licensed programming, including footage from well-known creators Dr. Lindsay Butzer and Grooming By Rudy and dog-influencers like Felix the Wanderlust Samoyed and Crusoe the Dachshund. Additionally, viewers can fill out a form on barktvdogs.com and have the opportunity to see their dog featured on the network. If you’re dog’s uploaded photo is featured on Bark TV, it will be broadcast to millions of viewers across the country, turning your four-legged friend into a star.
“Americans not only love their dogs — nearly 60 million U.S. households have one — they love dog content too,” said Brendan Canning, co-founder and chief commercial officer of Triple B Media, which operates Bark TV. “Through a series of partnerships with broadcasters across the country, Bark TV has taken the unprecedented step of providing positive, all-dogs, all-the-time programming across a wide range of platforms.”
Dog lovers spend more than $100 billion annually on their pups, fortunately, Bark TV features educational and informative content for free. The latest expansion increases Bark TV’s availability as a digital network to around 75% of households in the country, including eight of the Top 10 DMA markets. Across digital platforms, Sling TV, Local Now, Streamstak, the Bark TV app on Roku, and others, the dog-friendly network averages several millions of viewers. Making learning tips on how to care for your dog or teaching it new tricks is as simple as turning on your favorite streaming device or television.
