Today, Verizon announced that it will now be offering a $10-a-month Netflix and Max bundle. This will give you access to the ad-supported plans for both and will save you about $7 a month vs. getting the two services on their own. This bundle will give you the ad-supported version of both Netflix and Max.
To get this deal, you will need to be a Verizon customer and sign up for it through the myPlan features offered to Verizon customers. With myPlan, you can sign up for multiple services and pay them through your Verizon bill. The wireless carrier has increasingly offered bundles as add-ons to its subscribers, with packages ranging from the Apple One plan to the Disney bundle.
You will also be able to bundle the Disney bundle and this Netflix plus Max bundle together for $20 a month with your +play credits if you are on a supported plan.
The Netflix & Max (with ads) perk will be available December 7 to Verizon mobile customers on Unlimited Welcome, Unlimited Plus, or Unlimited Ultimate plans. Enroll in myPlan and take advantage of the offer by visiting verizon.com/myplan.
For both Netflix and Warner Bros. Discovery, this plan could help them reach the critical mass needed for large ad deals. Both companies are trying to grow their ad-supported services. To do so, they need a large number of users to get the best advertising deals from advertisers. Using Verizon’s massive base of subscribers to help grow its advertising base could help them become more profitable.
Customers who sign up for this bundle deal will still get a login for both the Max app and the Netflix app. This will let them watch the services on any device they choose, including smart TVs.
This bundle offer is only available to select Verizon customers on Unlimited Welcome, Unlimited Plus, or Unlimited Ultimate plans.
