NBA TV will be the national home of tonight’s doubleheaders with two games filled with the league’s brightest stars. Tipping off at 7:30 p.m. ET, the defending Eastern Conference champions Heat (6-9) travel to the Barclays Center to take on the Big 3 of the 10-8 Nets. When these two teams faced off in Brooklyn this past Saturday, the Nets edged out a 128-124 win. The Heat were without Jimmy Butler on Saturday, and he may miss tonight’s game due to conditioning.
Directly following that game, NBA TV will be broadcasting a Western Conference matchup when D’Angelo Russell and the 4-11 Timberwolves travel to the Chase Center to take on the 8-8 Warriors. This will be the rare double revenge game as Russell was traded to the Timberwolves from the Warriors for Andrew Wiggins. Local broadcasts will be available on Fox Sports North and NBC Sports Bay Area.
At 7 p.m. ET, Fox Sports Southeast and Fox Sports Florida will broadcast a rematch in the Southeast Division between the 7-9 Hornets and 7-10 Magic. Last night’s game in Orlando was thrilling but Orlando did not have the magic to pull off a victory as the Hornets won 107-104. They will be looking to beat the Magic again and sweep the Magic on the road this season.
The King returns to the house he built when LeBron James and the 13-4 Lakers tip-off at 8 p.m. ET against the 8-8 Cavaliers. The Cavs have been playing well lately, but the Lakers are 9-0 on the road and LeBron will be looking to have a big game against his old team. Spectrum SportsNet and Fox Sports Ohio will be broadcasting this contest.
