The 2020-21 NBA season has tipped off and cord cutters have more options than ever to watch their favorite team. The NBA has made it easier for fans to watch out-of-market teams with NBA League Pass. With League Pass, fans can watch games from teams that aren’t in their local market at an affordable price. Don’t miss a shot this season by finding out how to watch NBA League Pass below.

What is Included with NBA League Pass

NBA League Pass comes in 3 different plans that offers fans the most out of their NBA experience. The versatility of the plans offer something for both casual and the most hardcore fans. With any League Pass plan, fans can watch out-of-market games and download games for offline viewing. Below is a breakdown of the plans if you subscribe directly through the NBA.

  • Team Pass: For only $119.99/yr. or $17.99/mo., subscribers can watch every game of a single out-of-market team.
  • League Pass: The most popular plan gives fans access to hundreds of out-of-market games for only $199.99/yr. or $29.99/mo.
  • League Pass Premium: Perfect for hardcore fans, this plan also gives access to hundreds of out-of-market games without commercial interruption and streaming capabilities on two devices at the same time for only $249.99/yr. or $39.99/mo.

For an additional $59.99/yr. or $6.99/mo., subscribers can add NBA TV to their plan to get more supplemental 24/7 coverage of the NBA.

In-Market and National Blackouts

Based on your location, NBA League Pass will blackout your local team’s games. An archive of any game that is locally blacked out will be available 3 days after the broadcast for NBA League Pass subscribers.

League Pass also gives the following warning about blackouts for nationally broadcast games:

Games broadcast on ESPN, ABC, TNT & NBA TV will not be available to watch live on NBA League Pass. NBA League Pass subscribers will have access to live radio broadcasts, and archives of these games will be available to watch 3 hours after the broadcast concludes. NBA TV games are available to watch live with an NBA TV subscription but are not available live on NBA League Pass.

Amazon Prime

Amazon Prime offers League Pass for $28.99/mo. or $199/yr. Prime members do not have to use any additional accounts or logins because you can add the service directly to their Prime Account. Add 24/7 coverage of the NBA with NBA TV on Prime for only $59.99/yr. or $6.99/mo.

YouTube TV

NBA TV is already included with a subscription to YouTube TV; however, subscribers can add-on NBA League Pass for only $39.99/mo. or $249.99/yr.

Sling TV

Sling TV is one of the best options to watch the NBA this season because of its affordability. The service offers NBA League Pass for only $29/mo as an add on with a Sling Orange subscription.

If you’re currently subscribed to a live TV streaming service that doesn’t offer NBA League Pass as an add-on then your best option would be to subscribe directly through the NBA to watch every shot of your favorite out-of-market team this season.
