CBS Television Stations and CBS Interactive announced today the launch of CBSN Dallas-Fort Worth. This is the tenth area of 13 total across the country that will get local streaming news from CBS. CBSN Dallas-Fort Worth will feature breaking news and regular coverage, along with extended coverage on stories and live events.
Previously, CBS has launched local CBSN OTT news streaming services for New York, Los Angeles, Boston, San Francisco, Minnesota, Philly, Denver, Pittsburgh, and Chicago. Miami, Sacramento, and Baltimore will be added soon.
“We are extremely pleased with the success of our first nine CBSN Local services and look forward to going 10-for-10 with the launch of CBSN Dallas-Fort Worth,” said Peter Dunn, president, CBS Television Stations. “The demand for premium news content on streaming platforms is strong and will be a driver of our future success.”
CBSN Dallas-Fort Worth is available through CBSN, at CBSNews.com and CBSDFW.com, and on the CBS News app.
These local services are ad-supported. Eventually, they will be added to CBS All Access live lineups in their respective markets.
